JLens 2022 Impact Report

The Talmud tells us Mishenichnas Adar Marbim B'simcha “when the month of Adar arrives, we increase in joy” (Taanit 29a). JLens’ work and values are deeply rooted in Jewish text and tradition. In this month of Adar, at JLens we are increasing in joy by celebrating our highlights of 2022 and a decade of impact. We are excited to share our most comprehensive impact report yet! We are extremely proud of our sustained Jewish communal advocacy, promotion of Jewish values in corporate behavior, and in particular the hard-earned changes we have seen as a result of this vital work.



Some examples of our impact in 2022 include:

  • Conducted 106 advocacy meetings with companies

  • Engaged 61 international companies for the first time

  • Removed Holocaust denial literature sold by Target

  • Companies (including Verizon, Smucker and Healthpeak) implemented religious coexistence best practices for the workplace

  • Morningstar developed plans to remove anti-Israel bias from its products and services

  • Encouraged companies (including Experian and Novo Nordisk) to conduct a racial pay equity analysis

  • Monitored companies’ progress towards emission reduction targets
